Rorshok

Why Rorshok Exists

We live in a time that is mired in old ways of doing things, old systems that hurt us, that are dangerous, that make us unhappy and divided, that destroy our world.

Some people are in denial about that. Other people feel overwhelmed by it.

But some of us know it and want to find a way out, in our own lives and in society. This is an era on the brink of huge change.

We need to join together and get out of these systems and patterns, and together to imagine, design, and build new ones.

As Audre Lorde said, the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.

Rorshok is a recognition that we live in a time when we need to come together to rework everything. This will be a journey of philosophy and of imagination.

But it will also be very practical, in our own lives.

And we must do it together with each other in our communities, in our neighborhoods, and throughout our planet.

That's why Rorshok exists.

A lot of the systems we have inherited simply aren’t working for us. They may be working... but not for us. They isolate us, keep us angry, divided, exhausted, unequal and thinking that we are powerless, while fucking up our planet. We keep using them and stay within them, and think they are normal because they’re familiar, not because they’re good or natural.
